ANZAC Day

Today is a public holiday for ANZAC Day, which honors members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. April 25 marks the anniversary of the battle of Gallipoli during WWI.

Thought I’d share photos of the ANZAC Bridge taken back when the sun used to shine in Sydney. (We’ve had 14 days of rain now.)

More ANZAC Day photos and stories to come.

Nice blog - it's interesting to see Sydney through the eyes of a new arrival. I think you've seen more of the place than I have in seven years here. If you like exploring try the walk from Taronga Zoo round to Chowder Bay and Taylors Bay. There are some great "lost tracks" out to amazing lookouts on the headlands over the harbour.

cheers
